To remind people how much they love their car stereos, NRMA ran an innovative campaign on JCDecaux Australia's street furniture with the help of Whybin\\TBWA\\Tequila and Mediacom.     The campaign was created to encourage people to consider the adequacy of their existing car insurance cover and subscribe to NRMA on Facebook. An interactive car stereo was installed into a bus shelter outside Wynyard Station in Sydney, putting the public in control of what was played via their mobile phones.
It was the first interactive outdoor of its kind in Australia.
The bus shelter was fitted with speakers that could play a range of different tracks. Via a QR code or URL people are directed to ‘like’ the car stereos page on Facebook in order to pick a track to be played live in the bus shelter. The track played instantly through the installed stereos. For more information, contact sophie.hohnen@jcdecaux.com.au
